About Prodromos

Prodromos Manou was born in Greece, studied graphic design at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and attended engraving and hagiography seminars with teachers such as V. Charos, G. Gourzi, A. Komianou, V. Tsalamata and G. Kordis.
As a graphic designer he worked with Polygram, designing album covers and with many other clients on all kind of printed and electronic communication mediums. He holds an MA on smart packaging marketing, from the University of West Attica.
For the past 20 years he has curated two art museums (Amaroussion Folk Museum and 13th Special Operations Command Museum) and has hagiographed portable icons and private chapels in Euboea island.
At the same time he paints, sometimes for himself, sometimes for others, posters or house interiors, wooden fayum portraits, pebbles and children's furniture or books and every summer he carves wooden walking sticks, enriching his vast collection. Since 2001 he has been teaching Graphic Design at the Department of Graphic and Visual Communication at the University of Western Attica.
